I love all of my dogs, but this girl has always been very special to me... Her expression is the epitome of why I fell in love with shelties in the first place and she has a body to match. She is also *quite* a character while being incredibly sweet, and I’m just so proud to have bred her. Flare was born on my son Sam’s birthday last year (7/23/18), and has been incredibly special to me since the beginning. Her show career started at the COSSA specialties at the beginning of 2019 and she was leash broke the night before in the building (always the trooper my Flare bear 😉). Since then she was awarded multiple Best in Sweepstakes/Runner Up Best in Sweepstakes wins, amd has more Specialty major reserves than I can remember.

Flare was awarded a 5pt Specialty Major by breeder/judge Jerry Parisek, and then she won her second major under highly esteemed judge Jimmy Moses, and from start to finish she has always gone out in the ring and given me her all while having a BLAST doing so. The year 2019 has been so incredible in so very many ways and Flare finishing is just the cherry on top. Flare also recently had her first litter on 11/2/2019 by CH Laureate Opus One that consisted of three girls and two boys that we are very excited to watch grow up here at Goodwin Shelties!
